About this project:

This is an Excel spreadsheet for experimenting with the path of a ball catapulted off a tower. You can experiment with the values in the worksheet (height of tower, angle and speed of the ball) to see what makes the ball go farthest and how many seconds it takes before the ball hits the ground.

Students of physics and trigonometry would enjoy creating this spreadsheet or a similar spreadsheet. Students of any age would enjoy using this worksheet to test different angles, and would enjoy following up with a real hands-on model to test the findings.
