Sustainability is to increase a company?s triple bottom line which is of course is "people, profit, and planet" or more formally known as "social, economic, and environmental". The meaning of Sustainability (general) ? Is the ?economic development that meets the needs of the present generation without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs? (Epstein, 2008).

What are some related career opportunities and job titles in your company or in your career area?

They can be in the environmental field such as water, sewer, natural environments or business oriented such as water and waste control or process improvement, so the is less green house gases given off from production and indoor employee health concerns, or non-profit which can be a lower operating cost while improving operations or municipal which can be anything from a small change in types of light bulbs for building, street lights, traffic lights etc. to solar power for landfills and roof tops for schools to larger capital projects that are environmentally correct.
