What education or training did you have to prepare for this career?

Undergraduate degree in Community Development & City Planning. Masters degree in City Planning & Urban Affairs. Mainframe Programming & Systems Analysis experience. Financial Analysis and Management training.

What education or training do you recommend for students today who want to enter this field?

Participate in local activities, events and organizations. Undergraduate degree in Community/Communication areas.

Not specifically. I did know I would be involved in community issues/business concerns.
