I build web applications -- software available on the internet. I like the creative and technical aspects of my job, getting to use both my left brain and right brain.

I think a strong technical background (knowledge and experience with multiple programming languages such as C++, Java, Perl, etc) will be in demand, with a strong emphasis on the ability to learn new skills.
