Supervise five clerks. Full charge in bookkeeping, including Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable plus all financial statements. Direct and supervise secretaries. Manage all Human Resource issues including payroll, hiring and termination decisions, etc. Best part is working on different tasks most of the time.

I am currently earning an associate degree, and have three years experience in accounting and some supervising skills.

What education or training do you recommend for students today who want to enter this field?

Concentrate on Business Management classes. Learn about tax laws, employment regulations, etc. Requires detail in accounting. Must keep confidentiality with all employees.

When you were in high school, did you know that you would enter this field?

No, I never thought I would work in this field. A year ago I started with a business school, and found that I like this field.
